Keto Pizza Chaffles

Ok so we’ve just started a Keto Diet and this has been very highly recommended to us!

note: recipe makes 2 pizza chaffles

Ingredients

FOR THE CHAFFLE

Egg: 1 medium

Mozzarella Cheese: 1/2 cup

Coconut Flour: 1tsp

Baking Powder: 1/4 tsp

Garlic Powder: 1/8 tsp

Italian Seasoning: 1/8 tsp

Salt: just a pinch

PIZZA TOPPINGS

Marinara Sauce: 1 tbsp

Mozzarella Cheese: 1/2 cup

Pepperoni or Chorizo Sausage: 4 slices

Shredded Parmesan: optional

Parsely: optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Preheat waffle maker as well.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Egg, Mozzarella Cheese, Coconut Flour, Baking Powder, Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning, and Salt.
  3. Pour half of the chaffle mixture into the center of the waffle iron. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutres.
  4. Carefully remove and repeat for second chaffle.
  5. Top each chaffle with Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, and Pepperoni or Chorizo Sausage.
  6. Place chaffles on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 4-5 minutes and broil for 1 minute afterwards.
  7. Remove and sprinkle some Shredded Parmesan or Parsely if desired. Enjoy!
